When to visit Anguilla: seasons and practical choices

The best time depends on your trip

Published on 2026-10-146 min

Separate the climate season from actual hotel, flight and boat availability when choosing dates. A favorable period on paper does not guarantee weather or connections.

Flexible dates and a workable plan.

Start with your priorities

For a beach-focused stay, decide how much time to spend by the sea and how much on excursions and restaurants. On a short trip, the number of connections may matter more than a seasonal difference. Compare flights and transfers for your desired dates before committing to a hotel.

The Atlantic hurricane season

The National Hurricane Center gives the official period as June 1 to November 30. Storms can also occur outside those dates. This is a regional climate reference, not a forecast for your stay. Read updated notices as travel approaches; do not turn the season into an individual guarantee.

Hotel opening is a separate check

Properties may have closures, works or seasonal services. A hotel page does not mean rooms are available every month. Read the offer for your dates and confirm the restaurants, pools and services that make that property relevant to your trip.

Weather close to departure

Our weather page uses MET Norway model data for The Valley, rather than a marine bulletin covering every bay. Check temperature and wind as part of your preparation. The supplier decides whether a boat can follow its route; a favorable forecast on this guide does not confirm that the excursion will operate.

Leave room rather than a tight connection

Allow time between an international transfer and a booked activity. A flight change or suspended crossing can affect your arrival at the meeting point. Compare change and cancellation terms separately for the carrier, booking platform and hotel; they are not automatically the same.
